About Toolkit Aspen Way
Learn about Toolkit Aspen Way Co., Ltd.—family office cold wallet register specialists based in Incheon since 2019.
Our registered business
Toolkit Aspen Way Co., Ltd. is the official registered business name under which we conduct all cold wallet register maintenance engagements. We were established in 2019 in Incheon, South Korea, to address a gap we observed repeatedly: family offices holding digital assets in cold storage without a current, board-readable register.
How we began
Our founding principal spent twelve years in private banking compliance before advising two Korean family offices on their first structured cold wallet inventories. Both engagements revealed the same pattern—hardware devices purchased across years, cosigner roles shifting with staff turnover, and recovery instructions scattered across encrypted notes. We formalised a register maintenance practice so principals could treat custody documentation with the same discipline as their traditional asset schedules.
What we do today
We maintain offline wallet registers for family offices, single-family investment vehicles, and private trust structures. Our work is conducted in person at our Namdong-gu office or on-site at client premises. We do not custody assets, hold private keys, or execute transactions. We document, reconcile, and format registers for governance review.
Our approach
Every register engagement follows a written scope: device inventory, derivation path notation, cosigner matrix, seed phrase custody map, and discrepancy log. We write in plain English suitable for family council minutes and estate counsel review. Registers are delivered as bound volumes and encrypted digital archives—formatted for quarterly updates rather than one-time filing.
Credentials and affiliations
Our lead register specialists hold certifications in information security governance (CISM) and have completed advanced coursework in digital asset custody standards. We maintain professional indemnity coverage appropriate to documentation advisory work in South Korea.
Relationship to clients
We work directly with family principals, CFOs, and external trustees. Engagements are retainer-based with scheduled reconciliation cycles. We decline work where we cannot verify the identity and authority of commissioning parties.
