Cold Wallet Register Maintenance
Flagship register maintenance for family offices—full device inventory, cosigner documentation, reconciliation, and bound register delivery.
Who this service is for
Family offices, single-family investment vehicles, and private trust structures that hold digital assets in cold storage and need a current, board-readable register. This service suits principals who have outgrown informal spreadsheets or fragmented custody notes.
What you receive
A bound cold wallet register containing:
- Device index — every hardware wallet with serial number, model, firmware version, and physical storage location
- Derivation path table — account structures documented without exposing private keys
- Cosigner matrix — roles, contact protocols, and succession substitutes for multisig arrangements
- Seed custody map — where recovery phrases are held, in what format, and who has access
- Discrepancy log — dated entries for any mismatch between register and verified holdings
- Amendment pages — formatted for quarterly updates during maintenance cycles
What is included
- Scoping consultation and written engagement letter
- Physical inventory session (up to 15 devices)
- Register drafting with one revision round
- Reconciliation pass using client-provided verification methods
- Bound register volume and encrypted digital archive
- Board-ready summary memo upon delivery
What is excluded
We do not custody assets, hold private keys, execute transactions, or provide investment, tax, or legal advice. Hardware purchases, safe deposit fees, and third-party counsel remain your responsibility.
Process and timeline
Initial register builds typically require four to six weeks from signed engagement letter to delivery. Timeline depends on device count, cosigner availability, and whether inventory occurs at our office or on-site. Quarterly maintenance sessions are scheduled at the start of each calendar quarter.
Provider
Delivered by Toolkit Aspen Way register specialists under the supervision of our lead custody documentation principal. All work is conducted in English with Korean translation available upon request.
Preparation
Before the first inventory session, gather all hardware wallets, cosigner contact details, existing custody notes, and commissioning authority documentation. Devices held off-site should be made accessible or scheduled for a separate visit.
Next step
Request a scoping consultation to receive a written quote tailored to your device count and custody complexity.
